The consensus here seems to be recovery mode off, aggressive on.

Most of the time I have been running MD on my live account, I had recovery mode on. I just turned it off the other day.

Take a look at the MD discussion here starting at post #470. Ken's comments about aggressive mode, recovery mode and the nfa option are very interesting. I have adjusted my MD setting in line with Ken's theory. We will see whether the theory proves itself in time.

BTW, MD Pro demo account is 8% in the red right now. Several large losses.

Default Added Missing Pair

dennerle pointed out to me that I was missing the USDCHF pair and indeed I was. I just added this pair to the demo account.

Thanks dennerle, good catch,
Rick

Default New Demo Account

Collective FX just disabled my demo account running MegaDroid Pro so I am going to have to start again. I just setup an Alpari UK demo running MegaDroid Pro. Here is the new link:

I set the opening balance to the same amount (currently) as my live account.

Default Demo Account Dropped

Since I am going to apply for a Forex Maximizer refund and I am no long entitled to MegaDroid Pro, I have dropped my demo account.

Not much of a loss anyway. A gain of less an 5% in a little over a month.

I know that this will be a little off topic, but I cannot agree with you Rick. If a robot consistently makes you 5% monthly, then that is a top robot (math can be done on long term). On the other hand that month could have been the worst month of the robot in a whole year. But you will never know this since you stopped it after the first month. I dont know why people expect 40%, 50% or even 100% monthly profit from trading forex. Isnt it still obvious that this cant be done without risking your ass off? Nobody made fortunes in short term out of nothing. Investing $1000 in forex will not make you rich over night. Never! From my experience 10% is a real achievable target when trading forex. And this is at its highest end. Of course when you play games and dont pay from your wallet, 100% can be easily done but sooner or later your playing ground will vanish. It already happened with hundreds of robots.

Well, enough with advices and critics. I want to let everybody know that forex trading philosophy will change sooner or later. Stay tuned. We have a nice surprise for all the users of this site.

Catalin,
ForexRealProfitEA Team.

Just saw an advertise here on the website that says: "Megadriod nails 100.65% monthly". Is there anyone that can post a link to a real account having this performance? Anyone?
