Forex MegaDroid review - 12 brokerages

I am considering going with several live accts as I am so pleased with the one I've had going for over a month now. What is people's experience with several live accounts?

I am now through one month of Forex MegaDroid forward testing. Not only it was quite a pleasure to see the robot's profitable trading - I'd say silencing the hysterical critics who were screaming "Get a refund! Now!!" to those that decided to give MegaDroid the benefit of doubt was way more enjoyable .

So the results are as follows (I was using the safest settings - the conservative strategy at 5% risk):

IBFX - up to $3524.46 from $3000; 17 trades, 16 wins: http://jacobbeasley.mt4stats.com/

I am now going live with this robot and will keep you posted on my further progress.

Thanks for posting your stats on MegaDroid. Its going well so far.
Are you using the same settings on all 3 brokers?
I just noticed that IBFX opens approximately 0.32 lots per trade, while Alpari and FXDD open approximately 0.24 lots per trade. This might account for some variation in total profits.

Well there is not a bad thing i can say about this robot so far. I have had 6 trades since going live for 6 winners. I keep waiting on that first loss but so far it has not arrived.

I am using all defult settings with a risk factor set at 5%!

If this keeps up then i will make a heap of money. I am making sure i keep my risk low at 5% because i am aware that at some point it will get a loss, but with the win rate so far i do not think that will be a problem.

I also think the reason why this robot is doing so well and has in the past because it scalps on the eurusd and as we all know that pair has very low spreads, usually 1 or two pips consistanlty and that is the pefect trading tool for a scalper.

Hi Alvalue,
There are some settings which could be causing your problem with missing trades.
First make sure your aggressive setting is set to true. (Of course this increases your risk). Make sure your GMToffset is correct. This is calculated from your broker 's time, not your local time. Your broker 's time is shown in the Market Watch window. Compare that to actual GMT time to get your offset. If you are using IBFX the offset is 0. Enter your offset at GMToffset and set autoGMT to false. I don't trust autoGMT offset; because some brokers are using 2 or 3 different times: your local, broker 's time, and GMT. Make sure your 2 reference numbers are different. Make sure you robot's chart is set to the 15 minute time frame. Expect to see trades Tues, Weds, and Thurs between 21:00 and 23:00 GMT. If you are still not getting enough action, set up two more EUR/USD charts. Set one on the 5 minute time frame and set the other on the 30 minute time frame. Drag and drop another copy of Megadroid onto each of these 2 charts. Divide your lot size 3 ways between the 3 charts, making each lot size slightly different such as .04, .05, .06. This will allow you to see which robot is trading. Make sure all 6 reference numbers are different. Each robot can open 2 different kinds of trades, conservative and aggressive; so each robot needs 2 different reference numbers to keep track of its particular trades. Good luck!

I wanted to see what your settings were as you usually put them atop first post in thread, but I look and there's nothing there. In the other general > Megadroid thread I mention that I use risk=.5 and recovery-mode=true currently, it has doubled a live$ real account in 2 months on IBFX.

I'm just using the default settings. Can you link to the IBFX account you refer to?

I'm always amazed how differently these things work for different people!
