Hey guys, what non-NFA US broker do you recommend for use with Megadroid, and what leverage ?

I'm relatively new and I think I'm going to pick up megadroid and set it to 20% risk without changing anything else.

I also had 3 fast MD trades on July 28. They closed in profit in total, but as a matter of fact one trade was a small loss. So far so good...

Are any of you aware of the new settings developed by www.fxrobotman.com ? Supposedly, they allow for megadroid to trade much more with more profit potential and less risk. He's asking $25 for the book , but it might be worth it.

It's $35 now and it supposed to go up tomorrow . The reports definitely show more trades after tweaking MD, but the forward testing that is shown in the website is too short to provide convincing proof.

I guess we'll have to wait it out and see how it fares over the long run.

BTW, there is not much to tweak in MD -- only GMT offset (if in manual mode), risk level, recovery mode and... time frame -- the one that is recommended by MD author is 1H, but it is possible to use it with others.

I have been running MD on a demo for almost one month. It is a $10K account. On my backtests it did not seem to do well with accounts under $5K. As far as the settings go, I turned off the agressive feature, set the lots to .35 and the risk to .25. In the last three weeks I just let it run even though I panicked a few times at the negative trade $ amounts. The worst trades it had made a $3.80 profit and many were over $400. Over the three weeks the total profit was $3362.66. To be honest, this is so far the ONLY robot I will most likely try on real money and I've demo'd dozens (both commercial and free) of the currently available ones out there. Admittedly I have not tried them all by any means.

Glad to hear it's working for you. That's a really large return without having the aggressive feature on. Maybe it's just due to the amount of risk.

To be clear, the agressive was turned off. I found it worked much better on my backtests then with it on. It is an unusually goo return which is why I will run it on a 2nd demo before throwing live money at it! Money's too hard to come by these days .

I guess I should also have added that I'm running it currently on FXPro. I tried FX Trading but the commissions were running too high.
