I don't think it is the version of MT. I am very familiar with that problem after suffering from it myself. If you have that problem, MD will not place any trades.

Thanks | Samson,
ibfx is a great broker untill you go live. I've had the same results with gt-shadow on ibfx. Had to increase my lot size 3 times to get the same results live and demo. That's why pipcop is testing on different brokers.
All brokers differ between live and demo, but in my experience ibfx' difference is enormous.

| Hi,
I have the same problem with MD: Hardly any trades for the last couple of weeks on my Alpari and FXCM accounts. I used to get one trade per day regular as clockwork but not any more.
I hope this is just a bad patch for MD and not something more serious.
By the way my MT4 and MD are both up to date. |

| Hi folks,
As you can see MegaDroid traded today on most peoples platforms after a recess of about a week and a half. I have seen this happen about 3 times so far where there is a fairly long period of time with no trades. When this happened in the past I wrote to them, including to one of the developers, John Grace, and they (and he) explained that this is because they have intentionally designed this EA to trade under very specific market conditions (as described by Professor Ken Long in previous entries) in order that it will actually be profitable. And it seems that in fact, it lives up to it's promotion which stated that it is 95.8% accurate.

Also, I was happy to see there was a trade tonight on my live IBFX account and one on my demo with ForexMeta. |

| If we check the statements we will see that MegaDroid only trades certain hours. It would be very nice to have an EA that trades other hours. Now our money is sitting in an account most of the day dooing nothing. If there is another EA that trades different hours the ROI can go up tremendously. |

| On July 1st Megadroid traded from 22:40 to 23:24 for a win of 10 pips live on IBFX. |
