Yes,

I am very thankful. I dare not say anything about how far it will travel south or how long it will last.

My live account is currently at 27.42% DD which is way better than pushing 50%

I am, and I am running very aggressive settings, too. I hope it goes back down or I will regret that!

Yup. Now if I were following the recommended settings I would be fine. Alas I was running 2 instances so I doubled my risk. A 20-20 lesson may be in my future ...

I am afraid it was not the all time high. A better description is a long time upper range . As far as I can see the highest rate was in 1988 and it was almost 1.4800

The question is when RBNZ starts to raise rates. As long as RBA keeps increasing their rates AUD will go up. If everything is all right New Zealand may start increasing rates sooner than at the end of 2010 (as they stipulated some time ago). But as long as the rate differential increases AUD/NZD will go north...

1988 was a whole different world. Before 2001, there was no such thing as spot retail forex trading on the AUDNZD . The high they are referring to was way back when it was only a futures market. It was not the same market, and once spot retail trading became available, it totally changed the complexion of the market.

I sure hope it doesn't go up more. At least not until I can get some more funds in there to cover my stupid strategy.

Yes, AUD/NZD seems a bit better, but EUR/CHF has broken the lower range ... So the safe players have the laugh now...
