However, if it moved to the level of 1,2700, I would go back to this setting. | What do you mean by ?
Also, whats your opinion on chaging Robo/GT's magic to create extra trades and increase profit? I read a discussion about this and stumbled across an EA from Goldmine that allows you to manage the 'orphaned' trades.

6% monthly profits are possible, but not with the canned settings that the authors provide. My initial account of 5700 has grown by 2600 in 4 months, but I used a bit more risky settings when AUDNZD was reaching the upper price bound. This month I am 240 USD up, but I also added to my account additional funds to make the trade size bigger. I scaled down AUDNZD a bit, so the growth will slow down. EURCHF provides about 20% of the trades, but it is very slow. The good thing is that it has 0 swap rate , so it does not cost much to keep the trades open for a longer while. | "6% monthly profits are possible, but not with the canned settings that the authors provide."
then how do i earn 6% monthly if i dun wanna use the author RM setting? I currently leave the balance to '0' and lot size to '0'. my balance is 2600usd what can i change to earn 6% mthly? |

| from my experience, i achieve 4% on stock settings. what one can do is manually input the lot size according to which range the currency is at the moment and make use of the change profits EA. I wouldnt worry too much about the change profit EA unless u have about 10 open trades. |

This is a market and there are fluctuations, sometimes wild ones. Robominer is going to perform in accordance with the market. Take this past week as an example. It was very slow. The AUDNZD pair, in particular had very little range so there was, for me, no opened trades and only one closed trade. There are going to be times when it will be difficult to get your 6%.
With that being said, there are two things you can do. Warning: do not do any of these unless you understand the implications. Both of these techniques increase risk:
1. You can run the EA hot. Make the EA use a larger than normal lot size. I am running Robominer at double the lot size currently. Last month, I acheived 6.9% and I am a little behind this month but generally on track towards 6%.
2. You can double-up trades by manually changing the EA magic number. This will increase DD and if you do not understand the market, the extra trades can be stuck in DD for a while. This technique is described well here.
There are certain times in the market when these techniques (getting close to the first or last range as an example) should not be used.

| Hey,
Is it just Alpari UK or did your broker have a weird big dip down in the AUDNZD pair yesterday. I checked the H1 chart and it all took place within an hour. A big move down and then back up into the same area.
I just brought up a M5 chart and the dip was at 23:30 (GMT+2), high was 1.20847 and the low was 1.19316 for 153.1 pips in less than five minutes. Sounds fishy to me.
Anyway, my Robo entered a trade right at the bottom 1.19316. Looks like I am going to be hanging onto that trade for a while
Really strange,
Rick

| The lowest that AUD/NZD price got in the recent days on FXDD was 1,2006 and FXCM -- 1,2008. Definitely not close to 1,1930. Looking on the bright side you should have scored at least 3 trades on the prise going down... |

What concerns me is that it was present in my demo and live account.
I would have thought that the dip would have closed all my AUDNZD trades but looking at my live statement, not one position was closed. The only position change was at the low, a position was opened.
