I have been using Pipstrider on a real account. So far it yielded ca 12% in one month. I used PS only on this pair and I have not used MD on this account yet.
Another use for Pipstrider is to ride trends (you set it to buy or sell only), the martingale + disrupter seem a good way to get out of the trend if it weakens or changes. I am testing this with other currency pairs. |
It sounds like you are having a lot of fun with Pipstriper,
You have also found a worthy companion for MegaDroid and a more rounded trading methodology that fits your trading style.
I
think that I also have found another companion for MegaDroid and The Channel Scalper but it's too early to say for certain. Forex Photon has done a really good job in July on an
Alpari UK demo account (I finally got access to MyFXBook to check this, see
MyFXBook Rant). In it's first (incomplete) month, it racked-up 38.82% in a month where scalpers did really well in the first part of the month and really lame (the good ones just stayed out) in the last week of the month. I will be writing more about this once I do the month-end stuff.
