didnt actualy lose 30% in 4 months. started trading robominer in january with 20k starting balance on fxdd. moved my account to forex.com uk in july when i was up 11k.
now sitting with 35k. ur right , equity is around 21k but its something i expect. nothing out of the ordinary for i have been in this position twice b4 and its just part of the trading strategy.
if u cannot live with the drawdown then this is definetly not ur cup of tea. its not to say it will never break the historical range but there are several ways to protect urself.
best way is to increase ur balance factor to around 3k or 4k, even so, u can clear around 30% anually. |
