I find that this mode as "true" works because I switch from opens-only back to ticks and the test results are the same.

Very nice back-test. I also like your live statement. I am encouraged. Could it be?
I am still running the optimize. Into the third day. I will test 'scientific method' when this one is complete.
I am forward testing TripleHeaderMACD on a demo but the settings are very long term. I need to find more MOR (middle-of-the-road) settings. I am also forward testing
my own variant called FL_MACD. It just completed it's fourth trade with no losers.
