I'm just glad more and more EA forward testing sites like Pipcop are showing all these EA's in a real world environment and how none of them really work.

It cost ALLOT of money to do this sort of thing and theirs also to keeping the standard of testing consistent and within the developers parameters takes many hours.

I hope this will save many traders the utter frustration not to mention the hundreds of hours it takes to test supposedly turn-key commercial EA's.

I've tested many 100's of EA's in every forex forum, (outside of the dozen's commercial EA's tested), I know of, on many occasion's with the developer and programmer setting out the test changing 100's of setting running really big servers optimizing settings trying to get one to work.

If it's of any help, the least sophisticated and simpler the EA is they seam to live the longest. IE timing breakouts, and SMA types, anything with more than 3 sets of filters don't last long, the bigger the chart Christmas's tree the bigger the blow up.

I have also purchased and tested stand aloe bots that work with TradeStation and FXCM that cost allot more money than the run of the mill MT4 stuff, same result, They just have better marketing..

I think with the current market black & brown box meltdowns across the securities world this seams to be an industry wide problem and not just retail forex.

In my 12+ years of trading only the EOD systems seam to last and pay the bills..

I do this more as a hobby now, BUT I keep hoping.

EDIT: It looks like wide spreads took out this bot in a few hours last night after a week of smooth sailing.

I'm only going to run this bot 1am to 1pm est and see if it will last a month, heck paid for it got to see if theirs some hope for it.
