Where was this a quote from? I've looked at your FAQ's and FXDD's and didnt see this.
Its interesting information, but when I opened my account at FXDD two months ago, micro wasnt an offered choice. It was only a $100 complimentary starter account, so I would think that a micro account would be standard fare, but all they offered was mini or standard. I've already written to them about this, so I'll wait to see what they have to say, but I've never seen micro lots offered on their web site or advertised the way some other brokerages advertise them..
A mini account with 200:1 leverage allowed me to trade the $100 account, but thats a bit difficult do reliably. One loss wiped out my first days gains and set me back, and I knew I needed to add funding, or find micro sizing. Or a little of both.
