 Alpari and Robots
From what I see Alpari has the best Spreads which will in turn allow most robots to trade more. With FAP Turbo if the spread size is 5+ the robot will not trade. This is a big issue on the GBP/CHF which seems to always be a higher spread on every Broker.
I have tried a little more of a risky move and increased the "Maximum Spread Size", under the input section of FAP Turbo. I only increased it to the current spread size. I will see the results. This IS NOT RECOMMENDED by the developer.
The RoboMiner, as stated by the developer, will not work with a Broker that utilizes a "Dealer Desk" and will lose trades in the event. Alpari uses a automated bid placement process when using a demo and will work well with RoboMiner on demo, but uses a "Dealer Desk" as stated on their website on a live account and can take up to 5 to 15 seconds to actually place the bid!. Logically then....Alpari would not be a choice to use with RoboMiner except only on demo.
Some of these EA's are very promising. Although conservative as they are...they work well. Like Chinese water torture....drop by drop...or as this would be....pip by pip!!!
